Service
Can a 3-D prototype sample be made?
Sure. As with most other packaging mediums, samples of your ideas/concepts can be produced. Your concepts are replicated by hand carving plastic strips and assembling. The process is simple....
- you present us with your drawing idea and we show you what can be made
- consultation on production of the shape is taken
- the final drawing are forwarded to the moulder
- hand produced pieces are presented
- the final piece is sanded down, and spray painted grey. The sample is produced with all the appropriate curls and body seams. This becomes your functional sample to mock up with your design, for presentation to customers and decision makers.
Tin Fillings
Will the tins be filled on receipt. If yes, have you considered filling them before shipment.
For a minimal cost, we can have your tins filled in Hong Kong or China, thus shipping out a finished product. This saves you both time and money.
Do we require large production runs?
No. As our lines are hand lines, tools are easily changeable and do not need to be kept on a machine for weeks. For standard shapes, we can produce as low as 3,000 piece per 4 color process design. For non-standard shapes the minimum starts at app. 16,000 pieces. The minimum quantity depends on size, shape and accessories required on the tin.
You can lower the quantity per design. But how?
By composite printing. Your 4 color process designs are printed up with other customers' 4 color process deisgn, thus reducing the quantity of each. But what about colour? The design with the lightest color would be the one selected and followed on the layout. This design will be reasonably close to the approval color. The remaining designs will be closely monitored and color deviatioins to the original requirements will be kept minimal.
